Aye, could be. Tis a piss poor state of affairs then if the FA have 'sell' the England job to decent managers though.

I think there could be a sort of answer in my sort of question there.

load of old shite, doesn't matter what nationality he is. We needed a new manager, and he is/was the best available. Would you rather have Allardyce/Redknapp/ Coppell?

 

We've won nothng for years, and haven't really ever come close (maybe with the exception of Italia 90) - he can't do any worse than Keegan or McLaren can he!

 

Remember, plenty of teams have done well with foreign managers, Greece being the perfect example.

 

If the English FA don't feel comfortable appointing a foreign coach, then they should look at their own domestic league, and see how may English managers are in it, and then question why there are no suitable English candidates
