December 13, 200718 yr I can't decide whether I like this appointment or not, good track record, disciplinarian which is what the England team needs, but don't like the fact he can't speak English. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/7137847.stm
December 14, 200718 yr cos otherwise he wouldn't have taken the job, i'd guess Aye, could be. Tis a piss poor state of affairs then if the FA have 'sell' the England job to decent managers though. I think there could be a sort of answer in my sort of question there.
December 15, 200718 yr if we win the world cup who`s keeping it for the first 6 months us or Italy load of old shite, doesn't matter what nationality he is. We needed a new manager, and he is/was the best available. Would you rather have Allardyce/Redknapp/ Coppell? We've won nothng for years, and haven't really ever come close (maybe with the exception of Italia 90) - he can't do any worse than Keegan or McLaren can he! Remember, plenty of teams have done well with foreign managers, Greece being the perfect example. If the English FA don't feel comfortable appointing a foreign coach, then they should look at their own domestic league, and see how may English managers are in it, and then question why there are no suitable English candidates Edited December 15, 200718 yr by CWP
