There is a glimmer of hope though. Virtually all of our remaining fixtures are against teams with absolutely nothing to play for. Even Sunderland may be safe by the time we play them. Birmingham's easiest fixtures are against City and Blackburn at home, the rest look pretty tough. And keep an eye on Wigan, something tells me they may not be quite safe yet...

Look at Fulham's run-in they could well over take us, depressing.

You're right, Derby away followed by Sunderland at home! Let's hope that Wigan lose every game between now and the end of the season and we catch both them and Birmingham one point at a time!
