He was the last defender, so with the length of time that cross was travelling for, I have no idea what the fcuk Samuel was looking at to allow Kuyt so much free space. He had plenty of time to challenge for the ball himself or communicate with the nearest centre back.

Samuel looks better with Ricky infront of him.
