Found a good pub near Anfield yesterday.

 

About 15 mins walk from ground

Had a free car park

Was next to ASDA's with another large car park (obviously). Not sure how busy it would be if open.

Easy to get away from. I was back in Heywood by 6:10.

 

It's a large modern estate type pub. Not the most selubrious (spelling?) but who cares.

There were only about 30 people in the whole place so plenty of room

 

 

Oh and the beer was ?1.50 a pint for bitter (hand bulled barnsley bitter from Oakwell Brewery) and ?1.40 for mild.

I don't know the price for lager. I don't drink that muck.

 

Just thought you might want to stick that in the memory bank for next season
