mick ramsden Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 watched my first game at burnden in 1949 ,i was 5 years old ,have been goin ever since.last sat ,went to maccelsfield cup match.i was in the pub before the game when a local said to me that being an" old codger"did i know that it was almost a 2 mile walk to the ground...".no bother" i replied ile get a taxi.....he told me there wernt any,so walk it i did....guess what,there were loads of us in the same boat roll on the "old codgers" Quote
