It made no difference to my own bets (Kauto Stone fell early!), but that last fence was a farce.

 

Either make it clear it's not to be jumped or let them jump to the right hand side of it.

 

A ridiculous end to a race worth ?320,000.

 

The only bright side is that the injured photographer is a Frenchman.

Happy enough with that today.

I'd ?10 E/W on all of them and made near enough ?200 on the day.
