Babylon Lane Aggy

Police doing 'an exercise' pulling cars over 20mph limit. Warnings given today, details taken and fixed penalty if caught again.

Nice to see them actually enforcing a limit where it is needed and not on a wide road leading out of the village before it goes to a 40, like they usually do!

Meanwhile, no real crimes are taking place anywhere.

Precisely how I see it. I've never known any trouble with speeding on Babylon Lane, although I'll admit it's sort of understandable with a Primary school there. The most frustrating thing about Babylon Lane is people being simple when there's easily enough room to fit two cars going both ways the majority of the time.

What is "Aggy"?

Adlington.

The survey they did from under the motorway bridge to monitor speeding motorists apparently found over 80% were locals. How does anyone manage 30 on that road.

As for Aggy, wait till they build over a hundred hideous little boxes, you'll not be able to speed due to gridlock

Glad I'm not the only one to struggle with this; reckon there's more chance of me crashing by focussing on braking than there is from me 'speeding' at 35mph driving down there!
