October 13, 200421 yr Shite Look, it's 3pts and we are top of the table and that makes me happy. When we are in Germany for the WC we won't give a feck how we got there. Lets all laugh at Scotland and Wales instead.
October 14, 200421 yr only caught the first 30 minutes of the match, wasnt very impressed, went up to the devere whites to meet some friends and ended up watching the wales/poland match. have to say that was much better, but jees will someone please crunch robbie savage to the point where he is incapable of playing? Not very sporting of him to refuse to shake the polish goalies hand after the match. too big for his boots that one. someone find him, bring him to me, ive got pmt, ill feckin kill him !!!
October 14, 200421 yr And I won 3-0 at darts against the Crofters on Halliwell road, for the Central conny club. :D/ Fenny You can shove yer football
October 14, 200421 yr anyone spot ' jimmy the head' just after the national anthem. looked pissed wet through :::::::::::::::: ::::::::::::::::
October 14, 200421 yr Only real note of the game: Owen scored....thought the lad had forgotten how to do that...... But if the Swede continues to pick him for every England match despite his recent poor record then the law of averages state that he was bound to get one eventually :-#
October 14, 200421 yr If was a no win situation for England If we had lost or drawn we'd have been slaughtered We won and we are still slaughtered You've got to remember that the match was played in Artic conditions with 60MPH winds, the stadium was very low creating a whirlpool on the pitch... how we were ever going to play attractive football or score a shed full is beyond me We won and that's good enough for me.... And I don't give a shite if we only won 1-0 Spain drew at Lithuania, Italy lost to Slovenia, Portuagal drew 2-2, etc, etc 10 points from 4 games........ I'm delighted and we've got 4 out of the last 6 games at home
October 14, 200421 yr Totally agree - the win was all important. I just doubt the wisdom of continually playing a striker who isn't playing regular first team football and who isn't scoring. Erikson said not too long ago that he would like all his players to be playing regular Champions League football. Now I know Owen hasn;t been at Real for too long but how is he gonna get a game ahead of Raul, Ronaldo and Morientes?
October 14, 200421 yr I thought that Owen was outstanding on Saturday and fully deserved his place last night The transfer to Real may or may not work out, it's too early to say but the question is, who would you play instead of Owen? I do agree with regular first team football, you only had to look at Scotland last night, Naysmith, Fletcher, etc.... bit players who just weren't good enough
October 14, 200421 yr anyone spot ' jimmy the head' just after the national anthem. looked pissed wet through :::::::::::::::: :::::::::::::::: Pissed wet through? More like pissed. Good to see the White contingent in the former Soviet bloc. You've got to be loyal to go all that way to stand outside with no cover and then have the possibility of getting arrested by police so corrupt that they make Terry Venables look like a saint.
October 14, 200421 yr the possibility of getting arrested by police so corrupt that they make Terry Venables look like a saint. I think I read somewhere that Azerbaijan is officially the 5th most corrupt country in the world How ace must that be, you could do anything you wanted then should arrest occur, just bung the officer a wad of money and say something like 'here's a large sum of money now go away very quickly' The possibilities are endless.................... I could live with my goat without fear Wonder how much a house is over there
