March 11, 201610 yr I remember PT mesmirising Portsmouth in a 4 - 0 win after they had spent around 500k during the summer (shedloads for a second tier team in those days) and the chant "What a waste of money" resounding around Burnden Park. The game that Take Hunt off refers to was also memorable for an amazing individual goal scored by Johnny Byrom who slalomed hls way through about 5 defenders who seemed transfixed by his gut before stroaking the ball home. Sadly it wasnt caught on TV - unless someone knows different?
