Whitewhizz Bat Comes Good!

Lad's just played his first game of the season (under eleven).

Struggled with nerves and his coach swearing at him last season. The cunt has gone now, but to help with his confidence, I told him he'd score his first ever runs, and I'd give him two quid for each run up to five then a pound a run after.

He scored ten!

Chuffed to bits for him.

The bat we got from WW has served him well!

excellent may his journey through cricket be a good one, brilliant game, I love it!

Chuffed for you both mate.

Plenty more in that bat, especially at £2 per run.

Was the coach DC? If so, we had the same issues with him at Kearsley.

Only know first initial-R. Probably says everything that we don't know his surname. Used to be a wicketkeeper, no doubt knew his stuff, but no affinity with kids. Very competitive would be better with adults I reckon.

Wasn't really interested, texting and smoking whilst umpiring under elevens. Swearing and slagging kids off for not doing well. Didn't stamp out if the kids started having a go at each other.

FFS they are primary kids learning the game and getting used to a proper hard ball. Supposed to be fun, they not flintoffs yet!

Anyhow he's gone now. Kids were far happier, and my lad was buzzing instead of crying and feeling humiliated.

Not sure who you mean. Doesn't sound good though. Onwards and upwards.
