When you walk in a strange pub in Hartlepool for a day out in 76 and the locals want to kill you for being an outsider.

Having spent hours with Leythers like, LJ, Quinny, Smiffs, Maggie Tate, etc and you Mick. I still find your posts fucking completely odd, clearly I'm a weirdo

Me, Packy and even some reds tagged along for this trip to Hartlepool for a laugh that day, never known a day like it, supping local brews, but it all fell apart when the mutant nutters thought we were Cambridge fans. At the game itself, a loudspeaker announced can you lot from Manchester leave the ground now for your own safety.

Group of us called in a pub in the way to Barnsley in early 80s. Think Prince Rupert type place.

You could have heard a pin drop.

Once they realised we were Bolton supporters having a beer and not taking the piss they were decent with us.
