I think Anelka has paid off a small slice of his ??8m fee there. Although Diouf played well and got the goals, as did Davies, we have now got three quality attackers and a bit more of a pace threat than we have ever had before. Anelkas pass for the first goal was top quality.

 

In any of our previous seasons we wouldn't have had the quality to come back from 1-0 down at a place like St James's.

 

We're third now and I think we can stay in the top four.

I think if you look back in the archives following Newcastle games, I've always said Bramble was a liability in defence. I still hold that view.

I agree, the pass from Nic A was good. The defending from good old Tit us B was worse than poor.
