    Nailed it.

Going to be split camp in Kernow if Lithium’s gold rush doesn’t happen, but some wise old fools idea to check the  China Clay spoil pyramids for deposits looks like it may be viable.

I'm not sure it is money. More ignorance- examined properly, results will show financial benefits in many cases.

Of course it's correct to challenge where appropriate, but some of these folk argue against the green tech using totally incorrect information. These folk aren't wedded to the oil industry but seem like a modern day ludite. Don't get it.

There are also people who think sticking a flimsily made rotating machine from China with build quality of The Range solar lights on the outside of your house in the UK and expecting it to last more than three years is foolhardy.

The other issue of course is the National Grid not being able to support the additional electrical demand of EV chargers for a car which will need to do 300000 miles to pay back the CO2 savings needed to offset it’s build.

Was it whitestar on here who was involved in the large scale heat pumps in Norway which would be better solution but rely on mass infrastructure builds to distribute the warm water.

Anyway, you’ll all have to get used to living with small scale nuclear power plant in close vicinity soon enough. One of the A class boats in Demport could be hooked up to grid and supply Plymouth on its own

They’re already doing that in USA. Opposite way round at the moment where the inhabitants of the northern states head south for winter. Known as ‘Snowbirds’ they massively increase Florida’s population during the north’s snowfall period.

I’m no expert but there must be some middle ground between the snowy north and hot-as-fuck south where folk from both areas can escape their own areas.

Slight problem is that’s where tornadoes form.

Just looked at these on Amazon.

    £9.95 for 120 tablets.

Might give them a bash as I suffer for 2 days now after a heavy session.

So how/when do you take them?   During the course of your drinking, or just have one before you go to bed?  How many do you take, etc?

If you know heavy weekend coming up take one or two a day for few days before and through to day after. Always does the trick.

All sted heads use it. Protects the liver doesnt it?

Part of it, but both me and the mrs have done weekends away with full on sessions and felt thresh as a daisy when everyone else hanging.

Definitely worth a try. You can get better value through select healthy website about a penny a tablet than boots / tescos who charge you about a tenner for 30.

PS Nice to see the Raglan painted green but still not tempting me in.

They want a place where no one stirs it up a bit. That fluffy marshmallow world where everyone is MDMA style loved up and controversy is suppressed. They will get it in relation to myself for a couple of weeks very soon when I take my annual outback off grid break in the gloriously warm winter sunshine in the outback for a week or two. No internet, no newspapers, no hassle.

Back refreshed and recharged it will either be back into the fray or fuck it, leave it to em. Some top lads vacated this place as a result of what was labelled the m0ng magnet. It would seem that the repellent force was more than matched by the attractive one.

If you see Jenny send her my undying gratitude

Tomski says we did 14 pubs, so that's 14 pints.
I had another after he left, whilst selling a holiday at 1am!

Oh for the days of proper pub golf (strictly no fancy dress) around 18 holes of Barbican.

PS Have I mentioned milk thistle here before ?

Reading currently only 7 senior players on the books and just given pro contracts to 9 youngsters.  Another points deduction on the way potentially as well.  Walcott's been training with them, but won't be cheap or worth it.

That explains how they were beaten 5-0 by Torquay over weekend

Mate who went said best set he saw was Young Fathers

    Watched earlier

    Not bad

We got lucky catching them on travels.

Very good set with West Holt’s stage being right size that you can actually engage with stage rather than screens.

Great energy with a cracking sunset

Watched that set again last night

The way he whips that crowd up for Song for the Dead is masterful.

I still expect to see Grohl show up on the drums

Did I mention I was there?

He was pushing an open door as everyone there was there to make most of it to spite the Elton hype. The fireworks started as Josh had crowd singing the No One Knows refrain and only went to further fuel the “fuck it, let’s rock” feeling that led to circle pit

I went and she was very good.

Looked at Taylor Swift tickets for my daughter and the cheapest was £200+ face value.

Thats fucking ridiculous. I’d be wanting Ms Swift to perform unspeakable acts upon my personal pipe for that sort of money.

Presumably not devaluing the brand is why she’s not doing Glastonbury after being nailed on.

Fingers crossed it won’t, but when I did the asbestos courses they said it could fester in your lungs for 50 years before becoming a problem.

I know in schools you’ll see the the little coloured dots all over the ceilings to indicate its presence. I’d be surprised if it’s causing the kids any issues at all.

Yeah, I’ve done asbestos awareness as well . Plenty in old electrical switchgear as well as buildings worked on.

  14. Amazed my brother is still alive.

He got job straight of school removing asbestos from the multi story car parks around city centre. On face of it things were done properly with positive pressure seals and PPE but being bunch of knobs when it got too hot they’d be working with overalls around waste like they’d seen every builder doing. 45 years on not taken him.

    He’s not gonna shag you.

And I was at iron maiden last night - They are somehow getting better with age. Bruce Dickinsons vocals were perfect, dunno how they keep going at their age

Talking of Maiden the opening act on John Peel stage was group called the Sixsters. Five sixteen year old girl Ukrainian refugees. Expected to get some folk music to politely applaud but they were straight up heavy metal with feet up on Amps, horn salutes and head banging throughout.

    Bloody great fun
