  1. Millwall are still historically the 5th best home team in English football since 1920; so a point isn't too bad. Did that help cheer you up? No. Thought not. Fair result overall, but you must be kicking yourselves with that penalty miss at 0-1.
  2. This does mean we get to cause £100k worth of damage to the Reebok next season, without Bolton moaning! And your press officer saying 'it's a fair cop'.
  3. Ha. Indeed. On his debut the Millwall fans started singing 'DJ what's the score? DJ, DJ what's the score?' after a few minutes. He looked a bit sheepish. But he has said that we will win on Saturday....
  4. Charlton's new owner has sold the spine of their team - the keeper, Stephens the creative midfielder, and Kermogant the focal point of their game plan & target man...and replaced them with young, inexperienced players from his stable of European clubs. They've brought in two strikers - one an Iranian & the other a Pole who's only played in the Dutch 2nd tier, and the new keeper is a bit of a clown (their words). You never know, it could work. But a very risk gamble midway through the season. I think once Holloway finally gets a settled side (he's brought in 5 new players; Williams from MK Dons, Upson from Yeovil, DJ Campbell, Simeon Jackson and Fredericks from Spurs) and we restore some confidence after the ordeal of Lomas we should pull clear just. I can't see Charlton having enough to overhaul Bolton.
  5. Thing is with Trotter he isn't shit. Just very lazy; or languid if they're foreign. He could be a top Championship / lower Prem player if you gave him the dedication and heart of Stuart Pearce say. He'll have a storming game every now and then...if the weather is right, the grass is green and the oppos midfielder stand off him. I was under the impression you'd agreed a fee and we operate a no returns policy on players like Trotter.
  6. I've seen Millwall relegated twice having been top at Christmas, once from the top flight in 1990, and then from what is now the Championship in 1996...where the only time we were in the bottom three was in injury time of the last game of the season on goal difference after Portsmouth scored a late winner up at Huddersfield. Oh, how we laughed. This has been not help whatsoever, but for what's it's worth I think it's Yeovil, Barnsley and then between us & Charlton.

To be fair that's a nice touch from him. Everton stayed there once. Oh.

We didn't rate him either, he was behind Horne and Kasey Keller. But, I don't know, he was just likeable.

I like Bolton Wanderers. The name is somehow quirky, yet working class. It's a tough town. I loved the team of the mid 90s - especially the Cup run. And on New Year's Eve in 1999 I met a very friendly Boltonian girl, who dragged me to her bar's work party so she could make me speak in front of everyone, whole they did Only Fools & Horses and Eastender impressions. I made her scream 'oh, Riiiicccckeeey' just after midnight!

To be fair Casino that pub would have been the wrong pub for a lot of people to wander into - football fan or not. I once saw it empty to attack the pikey camp near the station. Plus I can say now, as it's closed, but they used to have a sorn off shotgun under the bar! But come on, yeah, we are c@@ts, but Palace?! They're anti football...supported by people who'd rather be playing tennis, if only it wasn't always raining. Besides..we gifted you Rioch, McGinley and Davidson! You gotta be thankful for that?

Yep, that was the Barnaby. Nice little pub. Now apartments sadly.

On a real serious note; I can see why Casino has taken against us...I I hate all Arsenal fans simply because of Piers Morgan. Human nature. Did the daughter have access to a knife or was it a metaphorical threat...ie he meant he'd lend you his daughter's train ticket & then she'd scream 'that man has a child's ticket...stop him'...as you were lead away her & her father were laughing?

    Palace

Fair point. It's why I prefer White people to black people...as I've never been mugged by knife point by a White person. Oh hang on...that sounds like a completely daft opinion to form about a whole group of people based on an one off incident involving an individual...also it's a bit racist too. On serious note though, it's your opinion and I guess I've got to respect it. I will inform the Millwall PR team we've lost another popularity vote to those Palace scamps, who only beat up Charlton supporting women on trains...whoops, now I've done it to!

Don't do it, palace are bunch of freaks. Football atmospheres should be organic, not choreographed by a bunch of 6th Form virgins with banners and a drum. As for cockney rent boys...rent boys yes; cockney no. In fact I wouldn't even class them as a proper London club out in Croydon. More a suburban overspill club, that's why their main rivals are Brighton...can't be getting all nasty in New Cross can they. We find lots of cocaine and alcohol combined with lacklusture stewarding lends itself to a good atmosphere..just don't bump into people!
  15. Of course we do COYW...wouldn't be Millwall without it!
