IMO Nicky Hunt needs competiton for his place to improve himself as a full back. He likes to get forward and put a ball into the box which I remember a few assists coming from. My source tells me that Nicky would love to burst forward given the chance play the ball inside to the holding midfielder or strikers feet but he has spent all last season being trained to play direct up the wing to Davies and to not get forward as he kept getting caught out. Believe of this what u like but I honestly think BFS changed Hunt into the player he isnt punting long ball up the line which usually find row z Lets hope Sammy Lee allows both Hunt and Samuel to get forward this season and overlap the wingers/wide midfielders and we might see a better Nicky Hunt. Or best bet get Luke Young quick!!!

Defo need at least one new centre back hopefully with pace. Creative midfielder is another must. I've got visions of a 31st august claus jenson signing. Like the idea of Luke Young and reckon he'd fit in well at Bolton with license to get forward. How mush do u reckon for him? 2.5m. He's only about 27 so great age. I'd say he's on a good wage though at charlton but they wont wanna pay that this year. I've heard a rumour Nicky Hunts been offered a 5 year deal. Please dont let this mean Bolton think we are covered in this position. Someone told me O'B is some way off fitness and there has even been doubts over his career. If I'm honest I would like to see his legs in midfield ( no am not queer) if he does return. Is he not in korea though? No sign of an appearance yet. maybe my informants right Somebody mentioned jlloyd as cover at right back. Doubt it pal and I hope the days of playin people out of position has gone now BFS's gone

" IMO we are not and we're lookin at hopefully a good uefa cup run. If you think we are in a better position but will finish lower then who's to blame then???? No-ones losing the faith its just waking up to reality

I agree top 10 in SL's first season will be massive achievement. I have faith in him and the players that we have kept from last season to perform well but i honestly think we need at least 5 more signings and I have no confidence in the board and for that matter garside who i wouldnt trust as far as i could throw him (and I've got big arms!) Got my s/t renewed already and will be right behind em from that first whistle. Would love it to put one over on Sam so soon into the new season. Come on u white men!

Dont tend to post on here but like reading to see peoples views for the season IMO people need to wake up and smell the coffee Bolton will not finish in top 8 with current squad FACT They need to bring in quality and preferably before the season starts. I agree we need to wait for the right man but can anybody honestly say theyre excited about mccann, j lloyd, harsanyi and guthrie. Never heard of Cid but heard some good reports. Cant see him being in the same league as TBH but time will tell. Come on boys yes we have added 5 but strengthened..............!
