Hunt was not one of the 3 to see garside. The 3rd was Davies and it was the Friday before the Spurs game after training when LSL had gone home. He has since found out about this and not took it lightly. IMO he knows he cant do without Davies but naming him captain didnt add up if he's done the shit on him. Hunt fell out with LSL in Macedonia and again last week in training when LSL was cheting in a 5 a side game. The lad himself said he wont play again under LSL. Spoke to a few of the players last night and they were all taking the piss out of Sammy Lee and the things he says in interviews; Like I said to you before (right at the start of the interview) Postives when there arent any IMO theres too many who dislike him now and he needs to be sacked yesterday.

If we'd have signed him last season I'd have fell off my chair but the way they defended first half on saturday and I'm happy with this one. His experience in the prem means he can go straight into the squad. As I said on here a couple of times Cid is nowhere near ready for prem yet.

9 Jussi to fault for 1st and 3rd. How can anyone say he couldnt help the 1st. If a ball goes straight in from a free kick how can the keeper not be to fault. 3rd he just give up. IMO we have won most games over the last 3 years by winning the midfield battle and BFS knew the best way to do that was have 3 in there with one sat in front of the back 4. I honestly cant see us winning one midfield battle with speed and mccann. If your playing 2 in the centre then one has to be faye. Unfortunately LSL hasnt brought in the decent centre half that we need so Faye had to play there but for me he has to play centre midfield. My big hope is that wilhelmsson and braaten are ready soon because I see plenty of chances coming anelkas way and as everybody knows on here he scores more than half of his chances.

Nolan was shite yesterday. Cant remember the last decent game he had. maybe a a couple of games on the bench might do him good and give him the kick up the arse he needs. Not convinced he's comfortable wide right to be fair to the lad but IMO he's not fit enough to get box to box in centre of midfield for 90mins.

Could well be muzzle. Only seen cid once and based on that he didnt look up to marking any of newcastles attackers. Maybe in a few months or against the lower teams. I definitely prefer to see Faye in midfield though and am a massive campo fan. Its great all this competition.

I reckon if Vaz Te continues to play wide left he will bag a few this season ghosting in from the left on set pieces (i.e Speed/Nolan long throw Davies/Faye flick on Vaz Te back post header/volley YEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS! Exactly like his 2nd against espanyol. So hope so coz I have been one to criticise the lad in the past but always said he is a confidence player and 5 mins at the end of every other match did nothing but ruin peoples opinion on the lad unfairly probably including myself. Prior to last 2 games I wouldnt have had speed starting but his experience and goals!! are obviously in LSL's mind. Cant see him managing 90 mins but thats where Campo comes into the fold Anyone agree? So hope the atmosphere is electric next week and BFS will be thinkin feckin ell they werent like this for me.

He was also in the players lounge last night. Me too thinks bruce would want the 3.5m he paid for him last season. He was one of the main reasons they got promoted so why would they sell him??? God knows. No way should we waste money on him and I cant see where he'd get in our team. 3.5m is too much for a squad player. From my memory he's a wide midfielder who can play off the striker(s).
