  2. Anyone who thinks things will improve by replacing Neil Lennon are just plain daft, i really do think he will turn it round given time, the guy has had nothing to spend for christ sake what the hell do we expect??
  3. have you walked round our own town centre lately? dump isnt a strong enough word, unless you like betting shops pound shops and charity shops
  4. funny seeing fat frank before he was fat, bottom right of the screen 1;16 in, I remember seeing him that day I think i hugged him Remember going to Gillingham away on a coach he was on one season in the eighties he was busting for a pee but coach driver wouldn't stop so he tried to piss in an empty beer bottle, his aim was shite
  5. I cant work out if this is genuine or not, I just get used to the idea its not happening and we are skint and I better get used to the shit being served up by the present playing staff and then bang!! another rumour am i alone in just wanting it all to come out or just go away, this keep having my hopes raised is not helping my blood pressure problems
  6. My guess would be yes, sadly
  7. I apologise for going off the threads subject
  8. I have to admit going up to the Macron can be a drudge but its been part of my life since the early seventies so its a habit I cant kick, I am an eternal optimist and think things can get better and will. The trouble is unlike the seventies and eighties football can be found nearly every day or night on TV but all we got where highlights on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon so you really had to go to the game and it has to be said even in the lower leagues the atmosphere was miles better then than it is in most grounds now, You didn't need a ticket for most games so could just jump on a coach and go. What I am trying terribly to say is in them days it didn't matter what league you were in the match day was more fun, (remember Scarborough away in the 4th division!!!) if it was a crap game you still had the terraces, well that's what I think anyway sorry
  9. Looking forward to this its been a while since i saw us play there had 1 or 2 tasty days in the 70's or 80's cant see it being like that now but should still be a cracking day/night out. (me and 6 other old farny whites are in for the game and night out in Preston)
  10. Yea i grew up living on Plodder lane, not the best name i guess but it was all my limited imagination would come up with when i signed up.
  11. no you have lost me sorry
  12. Its a nice thought but sadly I am leaning toward believing Iles and Nixon, hope I am wrong if only because the speculation and hope takes away from the normal drudgery of supporting BWFC at this moment in time
