  1. Our defensive frailty is once again an issue. If we can't keep clean sheets we are never getting out of this league, especially when we are fairly impotent at the other end.
  2. If he was as bad as that spelling, awful! 😂
  3. Scoring 1 in 20 and conceding 1 in 5 is a big issue
  4. But we have scored 3 league goals and conceded 3.
  5. That is very true! Felt a bit like it
  6. Pure frustration at a missed opportunity. I don't think we are shit, I don't think most of our players are shit (including McAtee), I just really hate losing, especially in what feels like a very familiar way.
  7. Our inability to score when we are on top and having a leaky defence, especially from crosses. We have improved in many areas but the defence is still not convincing, very much like all of last season.
  8. Exactly he has signed 12 players, this is his squad, he was never getting rid of every player here wether you like or not, no new manager ever does, and that is just not sustainable. He told us we needed to be tighter at the back and concede less goals. He has choosen to keep this defence and not prioritise it for a major overhaul, and yet we are still shipping goals. I know we need a bit more time to gel, but there are worrying patterns creeping in. At some point he has to take the blame
  9. A point rescued, but overall that was poor and we still have issues at the back
  10. Burstow should have done better there
  11. Right get the fuck in
  12. How long before this excuse stops being used? 5 of the players today were Evatts, one has been given a pass as he came in late when we were in crisis and was awful today. The others SS hasn't prioritised in the transfer window so obviously happy with them. It has been shit and he has to take some criticism.
  13. Could have sworn it was Barnsley who had the man sent off, but doesn't look that way
  14. Right, come on.
  15. Defensively we haven't improved.
  16. Shite! .
  17. Should have done better there. Disappointing half, created bits but lack any killer instinct. Randall has been awful
  18. Got away with one there. We still don't defend crosses into the box well
  19. I thought Warren showed something more than the other youngsters, he has a bit more strength and held it up a few times, his touch looks to be decent and made a few good runs. Could have scored, but was a bit more difficult than I first thought and their keeper was decent. Even though they have problems, they are a league above and being down to 10 men for most of the game really didn't help. We played like a team that haven't played together before, and given all the changes made, that isn't a surprise, although a bit concerning that they aren't learning the system. Whilst a cup run is always fun, it isn't our priority, we must focus on the league. Some positives in that we scored 3 and got to penalties with 10 and ACD and Gales goals. But negatives that defensively we looked awful, and the weak mentality/focus, to concede so soon after equalising twice.
  20. Well not a great night, although being down to 10 for so long didn't help. Our defending and gifting them a lead back so quickly after scoring, twice, was the most frustrating bit.
  21. FfS, we just go to sleep after we score, very lucky
