With all the money that is in football and that Bolton are a famous old club. The FA should find the funds to get preserve Bolton and put the club in a holding trust until a suitable buyer can be found much like the government did during the banking crisis. This is an extreme situation that requires extreme measures.

He isn’t wealthy. It’s all BS. Which is what we were given. The things he is coming out with are everything he said when he was pursuing us. Look at Lord Ashcroft’s tweet who owned the bond which controlled Watford FC prior and after to the Bassini takeover (as it was never fully paid). He said good luck Bolton. A famous club like Bolton can surely find better.

Chaps as I posted on your excellent forum a couple of weeks ago - you don’t want Bassini, trust me. Nothing in what has gone on with your club and him over the last couple of weeks has surprised me. This he could have sold you on from the commitment that he made and taken a profit out of you was something that he quoted when he was with us and things were going wrong. Anything is better than him.
  4. There were plenty of takers for Sordell at the time. Yes I’d agree his career didn’t progress as it was expected to. The fee had nothing to do with Bassini’s business acumen. Steer clear chaps:

  6. Terrible he pulled Sordell off of the coach travelling to Millwall to sell him to by coincidence you guys. This actually turned out as Sordell’s career has developed to be a good piece of business however at the time we weren’t happy.
  7. Did he put any money in? We never knew, however a court case occurred later which after he had left which indicated that he might have been fronting things for a couple of our ex directors and shareholders of the previous company. No Bassini didn’t sack Dyche.
  8. That’s what we thought as at the time there were no other takers. Believe me, wait for another option, there must be one. You’ve had it bad enough with Anderson, this guy is another straight out of the same pod.
  9. Thoughts will be with you as you are a famous club who deserve better.

  11. Chaps please, please do everything within your power that you can do to not let Laurence Bassini get his hands on your famous club. The man is a wrong-un. Around all aspects to him you will find a story. His name isn’t even Bassini he changed it to Bassini prior to taking over our club for a ‘fresh start’ - we’ll that went well as he became bankrupt again. There are stories of a safe at Watford FC which the keys to it had to be hidden from him as the sale to the Pozzo family was going through. Our tenure under him was totally surrounded in mystery. He even announced a fans forum which we all turned up for only for him to cry off and leave the great man Graham Taylor holding the baby. You have a famous great club - I’m a Watford fan but a lover of the game - I urge you all to protest and do what you can to halt this.
