Chaps please, please do everything within your power that you can do to not let Laurence Bassini get his hands on your famous club. The man is a wrong-un. Around all aspects to him you will find a story. His name isn’t even Bassini he changed it to Bassini prior to taking over our club for a ‘fresh start’ - we’ll that went well as he became bankrupt again. There are stories of a safe at Watford FC which the keys to it had to be hidden from him as the sale to the Pozzo family was going through. Our tenure under him was totally surrounded in mystery. He even announced a fans forum which we all turned up for only for him to cry off and leave the great man Graham Taylor holding the baby. You have a famous great club - I’m a Watford fan but a lover of the game - I urge you all to protest and do what you can to halt this. 

We hope it is ill-informed speculation and the truth will emerge on Tuesday.

Thoughts will be with you as you are a famous club who deserve better.

Apparently, anyone but Anderson is the desired outcome.

Unfortunately, our only influence as fans is to walk slowly around the stadium before a game.

This is entirely down to Anderson and what's best for him.

He never gave much of a shit, but right now it's Albatross FC and he wants as much money as he can get. Nothing else matters.

Was it Bassini who sacked Dyche and replaced him with Zola? Not that he's the only berk to have seen something in Zola as a manager. *cough* Birmingham.  Did he put any/much money into your lot?

Did he put any money in? We never knew, however a court case occurred later which after he had left which indicated that he might have been fronting things for a couple of our ex directors and shareholders of the previous company. No Bassini didn’t sack Dyche.

What was his record on player sales and buys?

Ken has been here 3 years sold  Madine, Holding and Clough for £11 million and spent 200k on Magennis

Terrible he pulled Sordell off of the coach travelling to Millwall to sell him to by coincidence you guys. This actually turned out as Sordell’s career has developed to be a good piece of business however at the time we weren’t happy.

That game we lost against Watford at the reebok 4-3 was the best feeling I've ever had leaving the ground following a loss. 

Proper entertaining.

hhahaha Ken Anderson to Laurence Bassini, this is better than any TV comedy...you couldn't write this. In all fairness to him, if he does become the owner of the club, i think he should be given a fair shake.

That's like some builders doing some work at your dad's house making an absolute mess and ripping him off for a few grand and then letting them come round to do some work on your own house because they might not do the same to you. This guy should be given a wide birth, it's a big fat no from me 

I like the fair shake idea. Vigorous probably a better word though.

Anyone who can get that amount of money for Sordell is a genius in my books. Donaldson will be gone for 5 million close season!

There were plenty of takers for Sordell at the time. Yes I’d agree his career didn’t progress as it was expected to. The fee had nothing to do with Bassini’s business acumen. Steer clear chaps:

He's right, you know. Whoever takes over is, at least for the fairly short term, better than the guy up top right now. As supporters, we don't get a say in the who and the why, we've just got to have blind faith that someone at OUR club is there doing the right thing.
