FOOTBALL fans will head for Bolton Wanderers' Reebok Stadium this weekend on a soccer marathon that will benefit poorly children at Bolton’s NHS hospitals.

Members of the website Whites Euro are hoping to raise hundreds of pounds by doing a sponsored tour of every Premiership ground, as well as taking part in a penalty shoot-out contest against Wanderers' legend Tony Kelly.

The group has already raised more than £400 and hopes to collect much more when they meet on Saturday before the big match against Arsenal.

Matt Ross, one of the event organisers, said: "We wanted to do something positive to raise money for charity, and we thought that a tour of the grounds would be a good way to do it. The money we raise will go to the children's ward at Bolton Hospital and is a way for us to give something back to the community."

The fans, most of whom are season ticket holders, are passionate about football and follow Wanderers both home and away. The group came together through the website and has held various charity events in the past.

This time, they decided to go bigger by touring every Premier League ground in the country to raise money for local children who need special medical care. The group has worked hard to drum up support, and donations are coming from local businesses as well as friends and family.

In addition to the penalty shoot-out and stadium tour, there will be a raffle and other fundraising activities at the Reebok Stadium on match day.

Fans attending the game against Arsenal are urged to get involved and contribute to the cause.

I didn't sit there and do that myself btw, I ask GPT to do it
