You'd expect such lazy journalism from one of the cheap tabloids like The Star or The Sport, but not from the Independent whose very name suggests they'd offer something different.

 

It's currently fashionable to knock Bolton, Big Sam and El Hadji in particular, but it's hardly cutting edge investigative journalism is it? More of a lazy cut and paste job!

Linesman gave the second, I think correctly. First one was a penalty too, although I've seen them not given.

2nd hit him on the shoulder, they say Taylor leaned in - can see why it was given. But harsh. First I think the angle of the defenders run across the attacker was what convinced the ref. Just like with Diouf

the first one was not a pen for me,kamara had already knocked the ball to far.the handball was a pen because taylors arm came out to block the ball.
