EUROPE

right were do i start :-k , if we do get in europe,

1. are we good enough

2. have we got the squad

and the answer to these questions is no not at the moment and for us to get to this we need at least 22 or more players, and do we have the money to do this NO again. right lets look at the squad that we have, who is good enough.

GOALKEEPER: JUSSI

LEFT BACK: NO ONE

RIGHT BACK: NO ONE

CENTRE BACK:BRUNO

TAL BEN HAIM

RADHI JAIDI

LAVILLE

CESAR

MIDFIELD: NOLAN

SPEED

OKOKCHA

STELIOS

FADIGA

CAMPO

STRIKERS: NONE

thats

thats 11 players and thats with out full backs and strikers. i think we would struggle like ipswich did a copuple of seasons ago even tough we have a better team than them.

if we get the money or can get 11 players that are better than the current squad to add to those who i have mentioned above then maybe, just maybe europe would be a good idea. :D

I believe that the extra seats are not added, as the income that the extra 3000 seats would generate is less than the income that the advertising boards currently bring in. It's wrong, but it's as simple as that. Plus as we don't sell out every game, whats the point

The point is; we DO sell out a lot of games. I admit there are spaces around the ground, even against the bigger clubs. Didn't the ticket office once say that at any one game between 400 and 1,500 ST holders DON'T attend? And the cheeky tossers ask that you give up your ticket for the princely sum of ??10. . . not even a real ??10 either! You need to spend it at the club shop where replica shirts are dearer than other sports shops.

They claim that it's because the likes of JJB and Sorts Soccer buy in greater numbers. Well, I'm sorry, aren't Reebok our club sponsors? Can't someone at Bolton pull in a Reebok contact and do something about it? And I don't mean ensuring that JJB and Sports Soccer get charged more!!!! ](*,)

I digress. If we had 2 or 3 thousand extra seats we'd sell most of them, I'm sure. Especially against the local five clubs plus Arsenal and Chelsea.

Mickey, I agree with you, but with the way this club is run, they would rather stick with the advertising boards, as they generate more money than the extra seats would. As we are run as a business, they look at what generates more money, not at what the fans actually want.

I think it is wrong, and believe that the extra seats should be put in. I also think it is a disgrace that if needed in the future, the ground could capacity could not be increased any further really due to the contruction. (i.e. another 10K seats put in, or on top)

i didn't realise that the BWFC shorts cost more in the club shop than at JJB etc...............that really is taking the piss!
