once diouf is fit i feel a change of system is required we need to give 4-4-2 a try, the holding position has served us well but we need to give davies a chance to play up front with diouf.

i don't think it was the formation that cost us yesterday - it was toooooooo many slow players

 

two key men are the 'attacking' wide players, and yesterdays were just not up to it

 

if candela is up to the left back role, then stick barness into hunts position, nolan back in for stelios, diouf for davies, campo for hierro and we've got a team

hierro, you must be joking he was to blame for the first goal as he failed to pick up bowyer who ran from 20 yards behind him, the commentator kept bumming hierro up as a spanish legend, but everyone can see physically he is not up to it any more, i will be very suprised if he figures in many games up to the end of the season.
