Any tips for Barcelona?

Off there on Thursday for a week for Sonar festival, belting!

Can anyone recommend any decent bars, clubs or places to visit.

Nou Camp's a definate but open to any other suggestions!

Cheers!

It is worthwhile going up past the Olympic stadium to the old armoury as that gives a good view over the entire city and will help you get your bearings, also see the Barcelona pavilion by mies, modernist classic for you, at the bottom of the hill. Also anything by Gaudi is interesting and not difficult to find.

As far as bars and food, anywhere is good, try the gothic quarter for cheaper and more questionable entertainment, and watch your bum bag.

The Ramblas is expensive as is Port Olympic..stick to back street bars and eating places. Bus tour is good...buy a ticket and travel round city all day...one of the buses stops outside Nou Camp. Sex museum is crap, give it a miss.

Super! ;dd

Saw something in Sunday papers about there being a drought in more-or-less the whole of Spain. Swimming pools affected. . .but bars aren't.
