Joseph Cole

Joe Cole is possibly Englands most overated player since the equally overated Paul Scholes.

He can't shoot, takes people on in the wrong areas, frequently gives the ball away and overestimates his own importance to both England and Chelsea!

Won't get a start in that Chelsea side this year and anybody who thinks he's the solution to Englands left wing dilemma is going to be extremely disappointed the first time he comes up against a semi decent right back.

Bloody awful player and half a decent season in a championship winning side wont change that for me![/b]

Ran the midfield for Utd

Roy Keane?

He's played the majority of his football for the leading club in England, with 10+ Champs League games per season and been an England regular.....

....no-one else can claim that.

Eh Dunster? That's a bit rich isn't it? I came on here to have a good honest rant about two footballers I loathe, and you immediately leaped to their defence in the style of a outraged lover (incidently, Paul Scholes was awful last night against poor opposition).

There you go Ken! Now Fcuk Off.

dunster999 = C*CK!

Always rated Scholes myself. He could score, pass, always gave 100% commitment, consistent and not afraid to put his foot in when needed, albeit late.

However he has not been the same player for about 2 seasons now

Lampard has the potential to become a better player if he maintains the standards he set last year - however that is yet to be seen

Gerrard on his day is better than all the players mentioned, but how often does he have "his day". 1 in 4 does not make him better than Scholes or Lampard for me - although the other two have been supported by better teams so the Jurys still out - he needs a consistent season this year to be taken seriously

As far as Cole goes, I think he is the same player that broke through at West Spam all those years ago and even though he has moved onto bigger and better things in clubs, he hasent improved IMO

I wouldnt say no to any of those players if Sam wanted to splash the cash however - Cole included!
