Can't believe we got beat tonight and I can't believe they are top of the league unbeaten.

 

We all played well and scored some cracking goals unlike a few of their scabby ones and deflections.

 

They only had one player who was decent and he was having trials at Liverpool until he became ill.

 

Ray von has earned himself a contract with the allstars after a good performance tonight.

Er, I know why they're top of the league, the ref gave them everything and Allstars nothing! FACT!

 

When they drifted into their keeper's area it was due to the slippy conditions! Sorry but inside the box, slippy or not, is a penalty!

The Allstars went down 8-10 to top of the table Arcelona tonight. Although never in the lead the Allstars just wouldn???t let the league leaders get away from them. 2-0 down after 5mins WW brought it back to 2-2 with a rare goal by the play/manager and one by Djorkeaff. After that it was tit for tat as far as goals were concerned. Half time arrived and it was 5-6. Would have been 6-6 if Brixton had had the fortitude to have a shot in the last minute. He turned his man but found that the ball was on his left foot, as the Allstars fans were screaming ???shoot shoot??? hey shouted back ???I???ve no left foot??? and subsequently ran the ball in to the corner.

 

At the start of the second half Arcelona stretched their lead to 7-5, but a debut goal by Ray Von and one by Miami brought the game level at 7-7. Under the gradually worsening conditions both teams found it difficult to stay on their feet but Arcelona seemed to cope with the conditions a little better than the Allstars and they manage to beat TBFTR with a couple of good goals from distance, and a scabby deflected shot. Brixton, after turning his man again, got one back in the final 2mins with a shot from, wait for it, his LEFT foot. Everyone, apart from Pablo Beattie, bagged at least one goal tonight.

 

Considering the temperature, conditions and an Allstar debutante the Allstars, as a team, did pretty well tonight against a top of the table outfit that haven???t lost this season.
