Just got a PM from a Besiktas fan asking questions about our Portugal trip and this was one of them;

 

We heard that the vitoria fans attacked to Bolton fans . Is it true ?

 

Now I said bollox, only trouble was Bolton v Bolton (dicks) and Bolton v OB in ground. I'm I right in assuming there was no Vitoria v Bolton fighting apart from the odd pissed up incident??

No trouble in town after game,went back to the square and it was peaceful.

There were a few Bolton fans who got chased accross the square after the match but this was by Bolton fans due to a 'staring' incident, a few bottles thrown but no Guimaraes V Bolton incidents, twasn't that kind of atmosphere

There was nearly an incident when mr h was nearly charged 8 euros for 2 pints of lager.

The Peninsular wars were fought against France in Portugal, it's where old Wellington made a bit of a name for himself. There was a battle at Bourgas but that was in 1808 and nothing to do with Bolton fans as far as I know.

He is a Besiktas fan and saw my North Cyprus flag signature. Wanted to know if I speak Turkish and help him with some questions he had about our jolly in Portugal - where we stayed, decent bars to go to, where the square we took over is located etc....
