Doesn't seem to be much progress with his contract.

I was harsh on him earlier in the season although his distribution is still woeful!!! He has put in some fine displays this season and hopefully that will add value to him if the lad wants out let him i just hope sam gets some of the money to strengthen early enough. Bones and bare come to mind with our squad at the moment. This is a big month we are on catch up now and need to pick up points with Jackburn having a good xmas and breathing down our necks.

I have to disagree. We must do what we can to keep him. He alone has saved us many points over the years with top draw saves. I know nowt about this geezer from Arabia or where ever he is from.

as i've said before

 

i'd keep him 18 months and let him leave for nowt if he keeps turning in the performances

he will be 32 by the time his contracts up wont he anyway

Id keep until the end of the season, at least, as we are still going strong on three fronts.

 

The lad who has just come, is going to need time to adjust, so throwing him in this early is not good and Walker is a good number 2 but thats it.

 

We should also get a bit more money for him in the Summer, when more clubs are looking around, rather than just a few who appear to be buying at the moment. More managers assess their squads in the summer
