I think this is a massive lost to the club, Jack Chapman has found some of our unknown stars through the years. Sam get's all the praise when he finds somebody like Jaidi but it's Jack who points him in the right direction.

A couple of things here:

 

He was at Blackburn before the Reebok. He didn't find many decent players for them.

 

Also according to the official BWFC site he was instrumental in signing Jaidi who, and I quote, has become one of the more notable defenders in the league. Notable does not necessarily mean good!

 

However, all in all, we might not be where we are now without Jack, so thanks.

 

PS But why is he retiring, he's only 76.
