I would suggest Nolan has come along a similar sort of path to Joey Barton but look at his situation at City!

Think we should count ourselves luky. Nolan is a model pro and knows how lucky he is to be blessed with such talents!!

 

The only concern I have is that he would follow Allardyce if he decided to manage a domestic team in the future?!

Nolan is a class act, on and off the pitch!

 

Nolan is a class act he had some reason to have an outburst 2 seasons ago when he wasn't getting into the team but he got his head down and got on with it, Allardyce deserves a lot of credit for Nolans progression from youngster with potential to club captain, Although i don't think loyalty really exists in football anymore every player has their price.

I think Matt Le Tissier was the last of a dying breed and look where it got him. Should have had more england caps IMO.

Loyalty can, unfortunately be misread as a lack of ambition if you're not at a big club.

Times are good at the moment. When we're struggling, and look like achieving nothing like City, then that???s when I will start singing players praises. Greed in football will more than likely overwhelm loyalty.

A lot depends on those around him, manager, family and probably most of all agent.
