Was in Malaga a couple of weeks ago. Spent the afternoon there so didn't really find out much about nightlife.

 

Abiding memories are: 1) it pissed down a lot 2) loads of dogshit on the pavements.

 

It's not as beautiful as other Spanish cities but there's a nice historic centre where the most of the main attractions are e.g. Picasso's birthplace, Cathedral, Castle etc etc. There's quite a few bars around here but I don't know if this is the best place for "Brits On The Piss".

 

This area is next to the Alameda Principal (main road through Malaga's centre) just east of the river.

My old lady lives just down the road from Malaga and has told me about a bar where El Ingles supporters club (C.F. de Malaga) drink. She reckons it's superb and that I would love the place. Only thing is I can't fcuking remember its name! Will post later.

Fire off Malag & move get a short taxi ride (as they say in the brochures) to Puerto Banus. Top bar's by the harbour, golf & guiness bar sells cheap shots & if it's your kind of thing, loads of rather attractive golfers gagging to buy you a cocktail or two....Beltin! Best get dressed up though!

That's where she lives and I've never been. Next year with a bit of luck. World Cup using up all available cash this year.

Benalmadena is only about ??30 return in a taxi (that is for 7 people so presume cheaper if your party is smaller). Torremolinos and the rest ain't much farther down the coast. It may be dead now, but next week is half term, so presume a number of bars and restaurants will open to cash in on this additional trade.
