MickyD Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 MOM (for us) Nicky Hunt how shit is he? Not quite as shit as the one masquerading as a player at our place last weekend; Ward.
E2Jarstar Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 MOM (for us) Nicky Hunt how shit is he? Not quite as shit as the one masquerading as a player at our place last weekend; Ward. To be fair though, he does have a point
pike_mill_white Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hunt was shite all match, I'm just hoping Joey was rested and wasn't injured otherwise we can kiss goodbye to Europe next season. The lad is a joke for me.
Guest Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Afraid I have to agree based on last nights performance.... If you take away the goal, which he went with the wrong foot on, his passing and positioning was awful. He put in a couple of good blocks, but I dont know if I am being over critical, I thought he had to do these last ditch blocks because of his positional play.... The only encouragement he can take away is that he has not played in a whilst so was going to be rusty and he has 110mins under his belt (cant remember when he got subbed)........Salford clutching at straws
wiggy Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Totally agree with you Salford. I've seen people defending Hunt's performance last night because he put in a couple of good blocks. Now tell me if I'm wrong, but sunday league players are judged on their defending. Premiership defenders are also judged on their distribution and attacking contributions. Anyone who thought had anything other than a shocker last night needs their eyes testing. All but 1 or 2 of his clearances either went into touch or through for a goal kick. And most of this was done without any pressure from a West Ham player. How long is Joey out for?

Think I am right in saying that J o'B was just rested last night so should be available for selection on Saturday

Hunt is not fit to wear the white shirt, end f??ckin of.
