Question Of The Day

As Sam Allardyce targets a five-player swoop for Bolton this summer, is Mediawatch the only one predicting half the Angolan World Cup squad to wind up in Lancashire, be paid ten pence a week and then have to listen to Fat Sam complaining when they head off to the African Nations Cup in two years' time?

He has made an idiot of himself at times, and has lost alot of respect......but is still many people's choice for England manager!

Now does that not just go to show that we are not exactly spoiled with Great homegrown managers!?!?!?!?!

Didnt no managers were grown :D

So humans dont grow from a seed ??

Examples of Sam making an idiot of himself please.

Moaning about African nations, but filling your team with them!

Always Publicly moaning about everything, instead of maybe taking the higher ground!

Whereas your boy is a genius?

Buying a defender for 5 million then flogging him for 3million two games later. Oh aye, genius.

You see you come back with this old chestnut, your on the defensive.

Ive never once said he is in anyway a genius or better than Sam or any manager. We can talk about Moyes if you want, but the discussion was about Sam was it not ???

OK then - Sam didn't moan about the African nations this time round.

How about that then?

That implies that he does moan, yes ??

If Sam sometimes shut his mouth, or took the high ground, and didnt tout himself for the England job at every opertunity, he has the making s of being almost The Perfect manager. But its becasue of these things that could ruin him, in regards to his popularity in England and even at Bolton.

He is not the only manager that wont shut up, Pardew is a t??t too.

If one thing I will say about Moyes, he playes the game well with the media, like refusing to coment on other teams and not get drawn into slanging matches....obviously he has faults!

Whole list of them for you.

Sam's too honest for his own good.

Thats the problem.

Moyes will moan about ref's, but he more often than not refuses to get into it, and doesnt get in touble with the FA about it much!

A bolton fan agreeing with a Blue Nose......but agreed 8-[

I do wish he would sometimes keep a lower profile, however this may be to do with his position as the LMA??? Similar to GNeville and his PFA position???

Disagree with you there Pablo, mate.

Anyone could win the league with Chelsea, and the only other two league winning sides have had the same managers for what, 10 years?

Put Curbishley, or Allardyce in charge of a top club and both would easily win the league.

On the other hand, I don't think Wenger could do much at a small club like Bolton.

Curbishley, Allardyce, and Jewell all managing small clubs and keeping them in the top half of the best league in the world. Hardly a shortage of good homegrown managers!!

But not Great!
