He's missed the boat anyway. He never shuts up about only doing 4 more years, he's just missed his chance of a shot at the big time so he's got no-one to prove himself to anymore (unless McClaren drops dead.)

 

He's more likely to stick to his guns and try and make a reputation for himself by hammering home the old "I invented 4-5-1".

 

They might be more youthful but dont expect any shots from outside the area just yet
