He's 19 now, I know it's still young but if he was anything special then surely we would have seen something of him at least in the cup.

I tend to agree ..... You have to look at the likes Rooney, Walcott and Leo Messi [i Know he plays in a diff country]

I'm not saying that this guy is'nt going to be ok, because i haven't seen him play. It's just that Vaz had broke into the team at his age so i'm just going off the thinking that he is'nt as good as Vaz was at that age.

They haven't had any games in the Premier League yet. Both are young and have done really well at the level they've had a chance to play.

 

Andy Johnson was the same a few years ago. With good coaching these players will be quality.

Yea give them a chance sam gets the best out of players usually. Also thought spurs have just wasted 2 million on carlton cole. glad we didn't get him.

It's a little deeper than that, I'd say.

IMO, Jerome and Nugent are at the moment just 'prospects', so paying ??3 million is a big risk for Clubs like Bolton and Everton for just 'prospects'.

 

If you do sign one of these, I think that a more reliable and more proven striker would be needed also. Its to much to just hope that the young player can be the answer to all your questions!
