The news of temu came out yesterday and even on todays official goverment channel IRNA(our BBC) it was announced that Bolton had signed him for a million dollars. An official from your club was flying in to tehran today with the briefcase and contracts will be signed. If you are lucky we might even throw in nice carpet ...hope he get the work permit otherwise we do cash in hand...

Does this person work for Bolton Traf? The other bit is it says half a million dollars. AFC gets it right most of the time but sometimes the small details are wrong. Have sheffield United been in the premiership ? Trust me nearly 4 four major Iranian sources are saying he is signing a two year contract and he will be in the UK this weekend and training with Bolton. Hope he does better than Bagheri, in fact if he play 16 minutes of premeirship football he would have done better.

Danny Rueben is the Communications officer at Bolton, but he tells lots of lies.

If so $500,000 is nothing for a squad player.

So AFC have got both facts right but the $500,000 is i think wrong. All Persian sources say its a million Dollars which i think is the right value for a player that is untried at major club level. Howerver he has a lot of heart as he showed in the World cup against Portugal and Mexico and its not a big gamble by Bolton in terms of the money invested.

Maybe it is 500,000 dollars upfront followed by a further 500,000 after a certain amount of appearances.

If it is true, a 2 year deal for a 23 year old with 'plenty of potential' strikes me as a lack of ambition by the club, certainly when the fee is low. Certainly asks the question if the club do rate him high enough to succeed in the Premiership. Don't get me wrong, i am not questioning how the club goes about its business, but it does make you wonder.

If this guy does deliver then we could be saying what great business it was. You have to gamble sometime and $1M in the premiership is not a huge gamble. Maybe he's championship material in which case, this time next year we offload him for ??500,000.

i think a two year contract is good for both parties. The reason for bolton has been said by the above poster and for temu its good cause if it dont work out he could get away quicker than he would have. Many iranian footballers sign short contracts for this reason. Karimi was offerd a two year contract by Bayern but only signed a 1 year one so he could see if could get in to the German culture. He has since signed a longer contract. Nekunam, the other Defensive midfielder Bolton were after also this week signed a 2 year contract with the spanish champions league contenders Osasuna.

He took everyone by suprise when he got in to the squad for the world cup and was one of the few who came out of it with any credit. So he is determined to do well and put in a lot of work in to his fitness last season,example extra training on his own. His only fame was starring for the under 23 national side. You also got to praise him for his character by playing for a side that you dont share the same faith in, not as difficult in everday situations between people in Iran but a whole lot different with Team Melli which is tightly controlled by the Government.

 

Believe it or not but the English Premeirship is the most popular league in Iran and games are shown live on normall tv, but the best players always have tended to go to germany. I think im going off the subject but what im trying to say is temu will be so determined to do well in the premiership and please a lot of fans in Iran. I am yet to find fault in Sam's judgement, (the majority of it anyway), but if this Temu is anything like you say he is, it is no wonder we are after him. BWFC have built a successful team around players who are determined to prove others wrong, so it sounds like he will fit in well. On another note, are you based in England or Iran?
