He's never been given the chance to play to his full potential.

When Jared Borgetti has started a game for Bolton he has scored in nearly every one of them (mostly in the cups but still...).

Sam cannot expect a player in his first season in the premiership playing in the toughest position on the pitch to perform at his best without playing game after game and playing bit parts in the last twenty minutes or so.

I can understand Borgetti's frustration and his wanting to leave the club.

To be perfectly honest I do not know what Sam is after???

He moans about not have a goalscorer and then has the leading Mexican goalscorer sat on the bench week in week out.

Sometimes I think he makes the goalscorer search a little bit of an excuse...for what reason I am not quite sure!

hes a natural goalscorer. give him a chance he will put

it away. ie Besiktas, Watford all good finishes. Something

we have lacked for many a year. Andy Walker/ John Mcginley anyone :D :D :D

According to the BEN he has been left off the official team photo and looks to be off to Saudi.

Borgetti has said publicly that he doesn't want to leave, but he hates being on the bench.

Sams "Hoof it up for Big Kev" style obviously doesn't suit, or indeed include the Borg. This begs the question - Why the fcuk did Sam bring him over here in the first place ](*,)

Like has already been said he is a natural goalscorer, but Sam wants more from him when he's not shooting to kill. I feel a little sorry for the bloke because he's conditioned to a totally different way of playing in a team. If he can't give what is required by Alladyce then that missing percent will have to be made up by the rest of the team. Maybe he's unable to play another way, but if he is able to give what Sam wants then he will be more of a threat than Davies.

I think Sam wants some mythical player that has all the defensive attributes and workrate of Kevin Davies whilst at the same time being in the box to score 20+ goals a season.

No different from any other manager in the country then.

Given that that type of player probably doesn't exist then I doubt many are actively pursuing one.

Borgetti was brought here as a goalscorer and when given the chance mostly delivered. It just looks like it was a panic buy last season before the transfer window closed as he never going to be a Sam type player.

So all this begs the question......

If Sam actually gets a 'STRIKER' what will he do with him?

Play him at left back when Ricky's out injured.
