Good work frank spencer.

I bet the-gary nevilleer or boltonbanter don't have a roving reporter.

has anyone not noticed that in the last 8weeks 3 buildings have gone up in smoke in that area. why? because they want to build flats behind moor lane and they cant because some of the buildings round their are listed buildings and guess what? the 3 that have been set on fire are all listed buildings! hmmm sounds fishy to me! :o

Does it smell fishy too?

It does round Shifnall St.

What's that got to do with anything? If you have enough money you can get away with any planning laws because the Town Council are scared shitless of taking anyone with financial clout to court.

The new Argos store was to retain the old frontage of the former Coal Board and Co-op Bank as part of the planning application.

The new flats at the junction of Marsden Road and Deansgate were to retain the Victorian Fire Station frontage.

Both were listed buildings.

Both fell down irrepairably during the demolition.

I'm not at all shocked that the land around Moor Lane/Spa Road/Hanover Street is being similarly treated!

They should burn Daubhill down.

Our building i listed here, they've just built around it. And they've blocked the huge f??cking windown above us as well, so I'm now sat in an office without a window anywhere near me

Are they building flats behind Moor Lane then? I know they're knocking most of it down now.

flats are going up all over the town! all sorts of stuff will be going up in Bolton soon huge ammounts of investment in the town! the place is certainly on the up!

As long as they don't follow Marsden House's lead - they should be OK. We moved in & it was nice, before long it had scummers on housing benefits in there (we got there letter by mistake :D ) and students/abduls/goths too.
