iam doing the london marathon in aid of the miscarrige association in april 2007. this is cause close to me as we have suffered three miscarriges and from speaking to people about it i know many of you will have some direct or indirect experience of it.

 

iam not after individual sponsers (yet but i will be so be warned ) but i would like any info on any companies who be willing to help out. iam after either cash or maybe donations that could be raffled or auctioned off at a later date, maybe a tv company could offer a cheapish tv? maybe you work for a company who might help out? or just some practical advice on fundraising on a largeish scale. i have to raise a least ??1200 but would like to do more.

No idea if this helps, a girl at work did something similar and wrote, called local companies etc and asked for donations for a raffle, you would be surprised at how much tat they got and most of it decent, ok some of it was free stuff used in promo (but was still decent like some perfume companies dressing gown), give it a go might be worth it. They actually gave a free raffle ticket to anyone who sponsered them and it helped raise over a grand (from about 50/60 people)
