Cant seem to get the jist of it. I follow all the instuctions on the packet, yet just end up with a bland load of cack. Any ideas anyone?

Hi,

If you are using a pack, add some fresh herbs, a crushed clove of garlic, couple of shakes of celery salt and smoked paprika then add a couple of LARGE KNOBS of real butter. Stir well and put in the oven for half an hour at about gas 6 until crisp on top - it will be great.

Asked the missus. She said it's just like owt else - the quality of the stock you use. Don't just make it with wather - got to use the juices off the poultry you're roasting.
