I've recently told you all about my mis-fortune of now having a severe brain damaged cousin, he may only have a very short live expectency and has obviously tore our family apart.

 

Seems the Cerebellum part of the brain is badly damaged making him pretty much able to do nothing if he does pull through.... his vison may also have been effected as optical part of brain is also at back.

 

THIS COULD OF BEEN PREVENTED BY ONE SIMPLE ANTIBIOTIC.

 

See it's now confirmed as meningitus that more than likely brought on by STREP B, most people in UK wouldn't of heard of this as we don't really test for it.

1/3 of men and women are carriers of this and IS NOT HARMFULL TO US, during pregnacy in other countries a swab is taken from the woman and results back in an hour, if she is positive baby gets jab.... SIMPLE.

 

We don't do it here as mandiotry..... Anyone expecting soon please please please request this, they will HAVE to do... but unless you know about it your obviously not going to request (like my aunt never)

 

We can't turn back the clock to what happened to us but please please even if you have no plans of having kids take 1min to sign this form..... IF WE CAN SAVE JUST ONE KIDS LIVE IT'S ALL WORTH IT.

This is a slightly less emotive breakdown of Strep B, although surpised they hadn't heard of it. We were bombared with info about this.

Funny you shouldve posted this- i watched a documentary about this a few days ago- was showing the screening process in America- and i wondered why i never had the check during my pregnancies.
