I know opinion was divided when he left, but there were plenty on here who wished him well at Chelsea (save for the two games against us, obviously). What do you think about his performance yesterday?

 

I thought he did okay, and certainly looked a better defender than Carvalho did.

 

I was particularly pleased to see his hatred of Rooney remains undiminished!

he is reasonable when the ball is on the floor dogged and strong, Aerially I think he is weak, he should have conceded a penalty when he pushed Vidic in the back, I dont think he will ever make a real top class centre half because of his lack of height and piss poor distribution, in short a lucky man to be earning 60k a week.

I thought he played very well. People thought he didn't put the effort in after Christmas; end of the day he came over from Israel, honoured his contract fully and never once complained despite being played out of what was probably his favoured position.

He was fine but his lack of height and an ability to give away silly fouls will prevent him from ever being a great.

 

A good, solid professional who will help Chelsea because he can play right across the backline.

He's a class act - come the end of the season he'll be first choice at Chelsea.

 

He's in the good books for leaving us for a top club, unlike BSA who followed the money & went to them geordie w?nkers!
