What I can't understand is the thought process behind this pending appointment

 

If you are looking for a man to do a job then you surely try to get the best man, second best man, third best man or even the fourth best man in for the job. For the life of me I can't see how GM falls in to any of these.

 

When Sammy Lee got the job I tryed to convince myself he was the correct choice, but deep down I knew he wasn't the right man for the job. I'm trying my very best with this Megson appointment but I'm getting the same feeling in my water, and my water is never wrong.

 

OK we don't know what has gone on behind the scenes with this. Maybe Mr 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th choice didn't fancy Bolton, the conditions they would have to work under or both. So maybe Gartside and the board have made the right choice. Maybe Megson would do and say anything just to get back in the Premiership - I don't know

 

Anyway what do I know? I didn't want Alladyce when he got the job, I wanted Roy Evans . I hope I'm proved just as wrong with Megson.
