General manager Dieter Hoeness has confirmed talks have been ongoing with the Swiss midfielder's representative as Hertha look for cover in case Gilberto completes a move to Tottenham this week. Hertha have attempted to block the Brazilian's proposed switch to White Hart Lane until they get a replacement and Dzemaili has been on their radar. "I telephoned his adviser several times," confirmed Hoeness. However, Fulham are believed to be offering the 21-year-old former FC Zurich prospect the chance to remain in England. "My hopes for Dzemaili [signing] is only five percent," declared coach Lucien Favre. Meanwhile, Hertha have signed DC United youngster Bryan Arguez to a three-and-a-half year contract.
