I did hear one theory today. That is when this submission gets sent to FIFA they will deny it unless the Prem takes it's number of league clubs down to 18 teams such as Spain & Italy. Apparently FIFA have wanted us to fall in line for years with the rest of Europe. "you want an extra game abroad? - compromise & take your league down a couple" That'll mean 2 less games a season but I'll bet your ST price won't budge... I think the idea to export the game is a good one, but for it to effect the league position the way it does is absolute bollox.
