Of course it was on TV. I watched it live on ESPN at 5am here in Oz. What continues to do my head in is the commentary. No wittering fooking leprechaun this time, just some numb coont and Robbie Mustoe talking absolute sh1te. The numb one had some bloke called ' Kempo' playing in our midfield. Mustoe gave us no credit whatsoever and had Atletico De Madrid as 'far superior' 'the better side' blahdy, fooking blah. Wasn't going to bother with the mute button when I found out the Irish 'in de ol' onion bag' cretin wasn't involved but had to hit it half way through the second half when Mustoe had Atletico 'well on top, all over Bolton'. I might have white tinted specs on but we at least matched them and I happen to believe that the scoreline correctly reflected the level of our superiority on the night.

It's not that simple whatsoever. The cheap tickets were announced ages ago and have been advertised repeatedly, it takes a while for the ball to get rolling. It then needs word to get out that tickets are selling well to keep sustain the inertia. Once people think they might be missing out, they suddenly want to go. Once it's actually sold out, there will be thousands of people moaning that they wouldn't get tickets.

I posted a few weeks ago that last nights game might have ended up as an early kick off. I was told that no English broadcaster wanted the game. The game was wanted by spanish tv but they wanted an earlier kick off. The club rejected an early kick off and decided it should go ahead at the normal time.
