This,my friends,is a mere blip.

Born to be a Wanderer.

Who gives a fcuk what division we're in.

Supporting the whites is about spending time with like minded lunatics from Bolton.

The best times of my life, apart from birth of my son, have all been wanderers related..

And will continue to be so..............

It's our club....

I give a fcuk what division we are in! As I am sure 90% of the people on this site do!

If you wanna spend some time with lunatics then go to the K2 ward in the Bolton Hospice! Because that is not what supporting MY TEAM is about!

So you're happy spending your hard earned cash, knowing that half the matches YOUR TEAM plays, they are happy playing for a draw at best?

Thats what the premiership is about.

Thought sport was all about trying to win!

Wake up dunster. We are not a premiership club.We are millions in debt, got a mediocre, apathetic support and without an exceptional manager, will spend our time scratching around the lower reaches of the top league at best.

Fear rules the premiership,so for a club like ours,we end up playing damage limitation football,ie don't get thrashed of the big boys and snatch a draw or victory against Wigan or Fulham. Well worth your hard earned dough, don't you think.

In my opinion,we've had our time. A small time club, upsetting the big boys, attracting some world class players, who i admit, have been an absolute pleasure to watch, compared to the fackin dross of the 80's,but all good things come to an end.

We've had our dream of watching the whites compete in Europe, times we will all bore our grand kids to b*astard death with and rightly so,but again,in my opinion,Bolton Wanderes cannot sustain this level of acheivement.

If you want to spend your money on watching a scared little team, who's objective every other week is to not get beat or to keep the score down, playing spoiling football in front of thousands of middle class blurts, then fair play,i'm happy for you.

I don't. I'd rather see a competitive team,who week in,week out,try to win.

Competition i think they call it.

Yes,i'm a fackin dinosaur, but there is a lot of us dinosaurs in Bolton who have got sick of being bent over and f*cked up the a*se by Murdoch.

Each to their own i suppose.

Top notch post, Fear of relegation is killing the premiership, From 6 down every one is playing 4-5-1 sitting deep and trying to hold on to what they have, look at Boro when they played Cardiff the other week, Cardiff set about them with attacking ideas and Boro did not know what hit them, mentally they capitulated and were outclassed, next season if we get rid of the ginger clueless one and we play 4-4-2 I will look forward to the season, the premier league for clubs like Bolton is finished.

Seeing as Forest (arguably Everton) were the last club to win the title who weren't massively bankrolled or a genuinely 'big club'... and that was over 20 years ago... and both those sides spent big anyway by the standards of the time... I don't know what's changed.

We've just had as successful a spell as we've ever had in my lifetime so that argument doesn't hold water, for me.

The football on show is less fun to watch because standards have gone up. Serie A was no picnic when it was the best league in the world in the 80's. Top level football isn't often 'exciting' as tactics come into play more and the margins become finer.

All just my opinion of course.

we may as well pack up if we don't want to be promoted

i don't pay my cash to be entertained, i just want to see us as high up the leagues as possible

not bothered how we do it

WBA play the best football in the Championship, that's accepted. Ignore the FA Cup where they got to a semi by drawing shit teams, their fans would swap all the football they've played to have a couple more points on the board.

I don't. I'd rather see a competitive team,who week in,week out,try to win.

And then what? Back up to the Premiership where we'd have the same problems all over again! Surely it's better to weather the storm this season and try to rebuild whilst we're still in the top division?

Bigger teams than ours are marooned in the Championship. Going down may not the season-long jolly-up that some people on here are trying to portray. Last time Fulham were relegated they didn't get back to the top division for 33 years!

Are you Phil Gartside by any chance?? If not, you should apply for a job at BWFC.....your lack of ambition would fit in perfectly.

If they get rid of ginger by next season - I'm almost 100% to get a season ticket.

but if he's still somehow got a job - then the club can f?ck right off.

If that makes me a fairweather fan - then so be it - I can spend my money on better things than going to a sh?t stadium every other weekend that I hate anyway :good:
