June 8, 200818 yr Takeover Target due to run in the Jubilee at Ascot on June 21st. It's also entered for the Kings Stand Stakes at Ascot on 17th June and the Darley July Cup at newmarket on 11th July. Oi, Bolty, if you're not going to fulfil your role as Aussie racing correspondent, we might have to sack you and bring you back home.

Takeover Target didn't beat much in a weak King's Stand a couple of years ago and he won't be good enough here. But I suppose it depends how many drugs they can get down him before the race...

June 24, 200818 yr It's also entered for the Darley July Cup at Newmarket on 11th July. Not running now. Torn a tendon at Ascot and is going back to Oz to recuperate. Probably the last we'll see of this excellent horse in the UK.
